Didn't run today because Sabbath. but huge shout to my idol Grant Fisher for killing it in the mile at New Balance even if he tripped a little bit. Also shout out to Jared Ward for killing the LA Marathon in 2:12. Oh and my condolences to that Lady who got totally wrecked in the 400 finals at New Balance...

1 mile of speed changes then standard distance run for 8 miles total. Average pace was 6:34. took an ice bath after with my boy Sean to be fresh for Davis.

Ran past the Jr. High again on our way back and got yelled at by more 12 year olds so that's always fun. Sean flipped them off though so it's all good. shout out to connor I guess because he's sitting next to me right now.

Another terrible run today. did some sprints in the park and then tried my best to not run into oncoming traffic to end the pain for the rest of the eight miles. Davis tomorrow.

Ran the mile and 800 in the meet today but felt so terrible that I'll just call it a speed workout. my mile was like 4:57 or something (AKA around 2 mile pace). I apologize if my posts are depressing but I've felt really sick off and on the past few weeks. at least I got in some decent distance.

9 mile distance run today. AP 6:47, felt better but not great. Got my mission call this morning though! I'm pretty excited to see where I'll be spending the next two years of my life and I will include it in tomorrow's post if you fellers are too.

Shout out to Garek for running with us yesterday, and congrats to connor on the new PR. come tailgate party with us for Conner Mantz's world XC Championship this weekend if you want.

crazy tempo run today. we ran 2 miles for a warm up and then did 6 miles of tempo alternating fast and faster. my splits were 5:27, 6:24, 5:23, 6:21, 5:31, and 6:28. Then just one more mile back to the high school in about 6:50.

Opened my LDS mission call today for the Canada Calgary Mission. Shout out to the brethren for being super inspired and such.
