Tempo run today!!

I warmed up a mile and then the plan was to hold a 6:30 for 3 and then cool down after to finish up 5. I ended up going 6:30, 6:22, and 6:21 so that was awesome. I felt way stronger (maybe just mentally) after my long run on Saturday, so 5 seems pretty easy now. It still felt really fast and I was way tired afterwards but it is definitely a sign of improvement to be able to average a 6:24 by myself on a training run.

Spaced out and missed the turnaround point by a bit (hence the extra .12), just got in some miles today. Average was exactly 8:00/mile on the dot, which is what I was going for. Just an easy recovery from yesterday before I hit some hills tomorrow.
